The Berardinelli family will hold a memorial service for their patriarch and matriarch Giuseppe and his wife, Margherita, on Saturday, July 29 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Middletown.
The funeral procession will leave from the church at 10:00AM. The family requests that any flowers be sent to Our Lady of the Rosary Church in lieu of flowers at the memorial service.
On September 2nd, 2014 the Berardinelli family held a funeral service for their loved ones. The service officiated by Rev. Don Weiler, with prayers and readings from Rev. Bruce Koeppel and Reverend Jeanette Daley of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Westwood.
The pallbearers were: Tony Berardinelli, Steve Berardinelli, John Berardinelli, Mike Berardinelli, Louis Arrigoni (grandson of the late Carmine Arrigoni), Tony’s son-in-law Joe Konopka and nephews Rich Konopka and Brian Konopka.
Honorary pallbearers were: Lisa Berardinelli and her husband Bob; Lynn Frank; Donna Pecoraro; Diane Ferrara; Sandy Lensinga; Marianne Schnarr; Johnnie Moore; Bill Mueller.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Carlo “Carlo” Berardinelli and his wife Harriet who both passed away from MS in 2014.

The funeral service for the Berardinelli family held on Saturday, October 1st at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
The funeral procession began at the family home in Via Gambacorta and proceeded down Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the basilica. The church filled with members of the public who had wished to pay their respects to the grieving family.
Brothers Pietro and Tommaso were both pallbearers, as well as their cousin Nando, while their mother Elena served as honorary flower girl. Their father Angelo read a prepared text tribute describing his sons as “unparalleled gentlemen” and thanking those who had sent condolences.
Afterwards, representatives from several Italian universities presented diplomas in memory of Paolo, Pietro and Tommaso.
Finally, after a hymn sung by the sisters of Stigmatina convent – where Paolo had spent many happy years – the cortege made its way back to Via Gambacorta for lunch with relatives and friends before departing for Naples later that afternoon.
In Memoriam: The Berardinelli Family
On Saturday, September 2nd, the Berardinelli family held their private funeral service to honor their loved ones who passed away in 2018. The service began at 11AM at the Church of St.
Francis of Assisi in West Palm Beach and attended by many of the family’s friends and associates. The Reverend Joseph A. O’Donnell officiated and eulogized the departed with words of comfort and remembrance.
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for a private lunch followed by a time of reflection in the church gardens. In keeping with the family’s wishes, no photos or video allowed during the service or after it concluded.
The Berardinelli family funeral service will hold on. Saturday, January 13th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Santa Rosa at 11am.
The service is open to the public and we encourage everyone to come and pay their respects.
